And to think, we've been spending all of our time using vst to ADD tape behavior to our tracks:

well now we can get that post-vintage sound of de-taperized (nichols, one for you) tapes by using wow'n'flutter and adding this little beauty after it.

bound to make it sound like a tape recording that doesn't sound like tape recording anymore....

Yea, pretty soon guitarists will be controlling virtual electric guitar emulations with their MIDIfied electric guitars. All the while commenting on how "real" it sounds.

So this is a vibrato plugin, advertised to eliminate flutter. Might sound nice on its own.

It actually sounds nice on non-tape-recordings.

so does it analyze the tape flutter aforetime, or is flutter always exactly the same?
