To all the people having problems with VST scanning: My apologies. I knew there would be issues with that but I test with a lot of different VSTs and I haven't had one crash in a long time so I didn't think it would be this bad. I'll work on getting, at the very least, safer scanning into the next build. Again, sorry, and thanks for checking it out. And also, if you have something you know is a problem, feel free to put it in the public wiki: http://www.angryredplanet.com/wiki/inde ... =Main_Page

thanks,
eric

agreed. Plus it would be nice if you could wrap MFX plugs in there.. Right now I'm using eXT this way..

I don't need it to host anything or do audio so perfect for me.

This is very cool. go sequitor! Anyways, this doesn't touch the speed of my workflow yet with the eXT sequecer. Are there keycommands for the tools? I suggest a slicer tool that lets you draw a curve over the selected note to change the rate of slicing. I like the bloom tool and the ecosystem tool. Is it possible to change what the bloom curve is. I didn't even realize there was such a thing as reelase velocity. Man, what a great setup you have here! Im very intersted and I like the what you have so far and your philosophy. I also like the quints and septuplets(sp?). are there things like reverse and stretch and inverse. hpow about a transpose strtch tool? will the line tool do that?
Do not lick the fablanky

PC only? or possible a Mac version? There is no Mac sequencer I like.

Yeah, I had the same problem. Prop'heads policy is really a nasty one. :?

Yeah, basically they only give out the Rewire license to big registered companies, not to indie developers like yours truly. Apparently Justin can't get a license either (for Reaper). The Props simply ignore most requests.

yet another 'reason' that the Props are a buncha washed-up old lamers

Hmm...that's very disturbing. Ashame...I always planned on purchasing Reason so we could support it's instruments at Pro-Sounds...think I'll be removing that from my list of things to do now that I've gained that bit of knowledge.

[btw - a duplicitous way of going about this is to
follow the example of plogue's bidule. This is
currently a free application that allows rewire, but
its free status remains only as long as it stays in
the beta phase. They must have gotten a license under
the promise of eventually charging for the
application, something you could say and simply never
do. Sadly, depending on the "EULA" they hold you
under, that could open you up to litigation. Then
again, maybe not. I think I'll contact them and ask
for more information regarding the restrictions on
these licenses].
How much of that is truth i don't know.
