ST2.1 and Intel

I'm thinking about jumping from a G4 1.25 GHz single processor desktop to a full blown Mac Mini and want to know if SampleTank 2.1 will run ok on the Mac Intel models? Thanks, Randy

yea... I read that the UB update for ST2 will show up around January. Does anyone out there have an Intel Mac that has tried to run SampleTank 2.1?

I believe you can. But you have to run your "host" under OSX's "Rosetta"...that's an option. I've tried it with Live 5.2 and it works.
January? Hope it would be sooner...
Thanks for working on it Squids. I know it's hard...I'm just itching to play with ST2, SS2 and Miroslav (got the Miroslav Refill so I can fill my erge for now).

sampletank does NOT work on mac intel!
not even with rosetta.
I have mac intel at have tried to run sampletank 2.1
it crashes!
very disapointing that ik multimedia waits until january to release mac intel version (that when they release other software for mac intel before january)
