Thanks!

But I love this part in the description:

Features

* Challenge/response (no more dongle)

and then this at the bottom....

Please note: Waves software requires an iLok Key for authorization.

an ILok? Won't happen...

Yeah, I don't know what's going on there...it says that they will email a serial number...you might want to contact them and see if it is just serial-only. Would be worth it if it is!

I contacted them...their whole product description was screwed up...all Waves products require the dongle...so no sale for me...even at $300...which is a darn fine deal...oh well....

the Q10, TrueVerb and L1 are nice. i like the renmaxx bundle over this one. i also like wave arts, and the nomad analog series. all are worth the look. with the reenmaxx bundle, you get a whole toolkit basically, other than the L1, but you can use the W1 for the same effect as the L1. i'd get the renmaxx bundle and use the free W1 with that, if i were you. or one of the wavearts bundles.

ok, if you don't like the dongle thing, go with the wave arts stuff. majorly nice plugins. i'm using them now. i get alot done with them. total package, minus any modulation plugins, which usually ship with any host. you're set to go with the wavearts stuff and the built in mod and other plugins in your current host.

YEah, WaveArts and Sonitus FX are pretty good replacements for the common FX.

Now were talking! I have Sonitus R3c (from the Ultrafunk dudes - before Cakewalk bought them) and WaveArts. Both packages are absolute essential requirements for my workflow.

Especially the Sonitus R3c Gate. Indispensible really....no gate I have seen can do the stuff that this one can.

That's right; about the only decent gate available outside of Waves...

Better yet - can anyone show me where the Native Power Pack is on for $300? I see $400 at the Waves store.
