I urgently need an impulse response of an eguitar body.Help!

Hi! I need some impulse response of e-guitar bodys or one e-guitar (Strat, Les Paul, etc...). Does anybody know where to get this?

Try the anechoic chamber plugin. Or, assuming you weren't taking the piss in the first place ...
I don't think any would have made one, for the simple reason that there is no easy way to process an impulse through just a guitar body. An acoustic guitar - maybe. But a solid strat or paul, wtf? The pickup doesn't pickup acoustic sound. It picks up the vibrations of a steel string within it's magnetic field. Sure - the wood does dampen the string, and therefore alters the sound. But the process is not really something you can apply to any other sound.
I guess you have an idea in your head you want to achieve - i'm sure you can achieve this some other way.

actually the body can have rather impressive effects. for example, if the body has some peaks in it's responce, those frequencies will resonate longer. when you pick a string, the initial impulse carries a large number of harmonics. the initial 'pling!' you get which quickly fades out into the sustaining tone of a guitar string will have it's content based upon the body of the guitar.
it is like the 'percussive' sounds on an organ. do not tell me that does not affect the complete sound of the organ. different organs have vastly different percussive harmonics offered, and many of the most popular organs (b3) are popular BECAUSE of the exact 'percussive' on them.
i think the body/neck of a guitar generally has some resonance 300-700hz. i dont have a good mic to do it, but i'd suggest just tapping the body at various regions until you get a recording with good clean peaks in the spectrum. then model the same responce with an eq and render the impulse that way.
