Looking at both these because it seems they are really the only choices for OSX multi-fx. If I'm wrong, please let me know what the others would be (on a MAC).

Anyways, which do you prefer as far as sound quality and diversity of efx. Tried both demos but looking for other opinons as well.

THANKS

You could have a look at our very own multi effects CamelPhat and CamelSpace (available on Mac OSX and we recently released Universal Binary versions). Between them you have a lot of different effects types - as ever, demos speak louder than words, so download the demos (link in my sig) and see what you think.

SFXMachine Pro Rocks! Love it - couldn't do what I do without it (well, I could) but it makes what I do easier. Great plugin in my opinion - been using it since the old old non-realtime version.

i own quantum fx. one of the best purchases i've ever made. great sound, stable, pretty low on the cpu. there are like 50 or so included effects and then you can build your own with the workbench or download plenty of user made stuff off the db audioware site. if you don't own many vst effects, this is an awsome choice for the money.

Quantum fx 2 is as good as it gets. you'll get a complete arsenal with it and the modulator effects are some of the best quality i've heard. You'll have the ability to invent your own effects from simple design to complex monsters, all with good sound quality, and quantum fx does side-chaining as well. There are many great choices for multi effectors on the market but Quantum may have the most depth and allow for extremely creative inventions and more well rounded arsenal. If your not the 'build it yourself' type then you can just use the 50 effects that come with quantum and download the creations of other users.Another option is Izotope spectron,Both run on mac. The links to both effects are here- www.db-audioware.com www.izotope.com TRY THE DEMO'S
