up to now I have been using beatslicer to slice up a sample and load it into FL into the fruityslicer plugin. There I arrange the slices and then export them into a wave file for the whole song which is mixed in Samplitude.
The only reason that I kept FL up tp now is that fruityslicer/beatslicer plugin.
Is there a way to import the sliced wave (don't know the file format on that right now) into some player/sampler-plugin and load that into samplitude. SAmplitude supports vsts so if there is a vst that plays the beatslicer format it should work. Anyone know of such a pluging or has a different suggestion, please let me know.
edit: the file format that is exported by beatslicer is .zgr
beatslicer files in Samplitude

I guess most decent samplers support beatslicing internally nowadays. My favorite is Vsampler 3 which has excellent beatslicing built in. But I do know that the Native Instruments samplers support beatslicing internally. The other option is something like Concrete Dicer, a dedicated plugin slicer, as well as a couple other dedicated slicers. There are just a ton of options actually. There's a possibility that formats such as Rex might be directly supported in Samplitude. I only say that because Cubase and Logic have this kind of support.

thank you for the reply. I'll try out some of the alternatives you mentioned.
another question: When using FL as a VSTi in sam pro v7 I have a little sync issue. FL starts fine when sam starts but when I stop playback in sam playback of fl doesn't stop. I mean the sound stops, so I don't hear fl playing but when opening fl vsti I can see the playback of fl still active but don't hear a sound. Now, when I start playback in sam again I hear the reming like half a bar from fl and than playback from where it is supposed to start starts. How can "start" and "position" sync info be correct and "stop" not? any ideas?

Hi reggaemylitis
However V9 of Samp is looking very good from what they are saying on Samp forum and I think it will come with Sampletank LE.
Also there's some kind of live looping system called AutoJam .To quote Volker when I asked :
"Its like an loop overdub automation with automatic adaption of project tempo to the current loops. Maybe not useful for everyone, but very useful for jamming alone or using it as a "musical sketchbook", e.g. for testing harmonical structures. In contrary to the similar hardware devices (Echoplex) you can save the complete jamming history as an arrangement to use it for futher work."
Sounds Interesting
The talk is about V9 being released in Aug/Sep .

I think it's a Samp Problem as I tried FL in version 8.2 awhile back and it was misbehaving so I gave up . I'll re-install FL and fire it back up in 8.31 and see if things have improved .I guess that would be handiest combination if you need to play back sliced beats without forking out for a new sampler.Unfortunately Image Lines Direct Wave sampler isn't working in Samp at the momentreggaemylitis wrote: When using FL as a VSTi in sam pro v7 I have a little sync issue.
