The Hornet was the first synth I ever saw - it was the only one we had in our school. I must check this out - pure nostalgia.

Used to own a wasp. It was the first synth I ever owned. It's all over the meninblack album which I thought was great. Nice little synth and the VSTi's not bad either!

I love daHornet for its solid basslines. Definitely one of the best freeware synths.
Qw, music from twelve weeks in quarantine is now streaming on spotify and bandcamp. This is a collaboration with the the smallest of worlds VR art project, that documents our living spaces in times of isolation. You can join their project here.

How could you program this thing anyway? Every time I tried creating my own patches, it didn't work. I could only tweak knobs (ADSR), but not switch modes on and off. I guess I should really look into the ToTc patches (cause if I can still remember, it was one of the instruments that was a prodigy in terms of DnB), but then again I already uninstalled my WASP... er... DaHornet.

Am I right in thinking it's this but I remember the one I saw did not have a proper keyboard but a flat keyboard like a stylophone but in a vinyl like material.

Your mother.Vonbrucken wrote:dahornet presets are too expensive regarding to dahornet vst price !!
yes, I suppose if you're 16, living with your mother, then they probably are. But for those of us that spend weeks constructing them, registering a business to sell them, paying taxes, and earning our living this way, they're priced just right.
