sounds like it can be done via cubase or logic's transform window... dunno about whether other sequencers offer similar midi functionality.

from the top of my head:
- set "W" to the CC which is supposed to be changed
- put in the formula box "w*2;" (without the quotes)

Why do you want this functionality?
I ask because if it's worth it i could make a MIDI CC scaler.

MidiOx (paired with MidiYoke) can do that. Not as VST, but providing converted values as a virtual Midi port into your sequencer.hcv242 wrote:is there a vst midi FX than can multiply the cc values by two ? ....i need the values to be doubled...ex: i tweak the controller knob to 63 and 127 is sent to the vsti...

thanks for all the tips...plastique thanks for the example...
i need it cause im using a bcr2000 midi controller... i have a problem with the bcr...i cant tweak a knob from 0 to 127 in one wrist twist...i want to use it live so i i need to do this kind of stuff... i cant adjust the bcr's knob sensibilty (if anyone knows otherwise please tell) ....but the bcr lets me define the max value as 63....(being 63 the max led position)...like this i can do a "full twist" much more easily....but unfortunatly the controller sends the value aswell 63...so i need to double the values....what a messy description....hope its understandable....

you are aware of the fact that when you do this you'll get most likely noticable steps when tweaking filters etc. ...hcv242 wrote:but unfortunatly the controller sends the value aswell 63...so i need to double the values....what a messy description....hope its understandable....
btw. when you just want a knob (or slider) in ableton live to go from 0 straight to 127 you could use a midi-note, just map the note to the knob and the note toggles between 0 and 127 (or whatever min/max values you assigned in live).

yes..im ware that the steps will have the value doubled...they will be even more audible....but i dont care...i prefer it to not being able to do a "full twist"... thanks for trying to help though...
