Things like bufferoverride and smokeyjoe can do cool stuff. Also short delays and stuff.
EDIT: also liveslice is a nice slicer if your into that sort of thing.

Give ShapeShifter a try, it's excellent on drums.

Here's 2 cool things to try right now with the demo:
- Switch on the delay, and in its Sequencer section flick the switch to select the Time step sequencer. Turn it on and draw a pattern in the step sequencer. This controls the delay time and gives some wonderful dubby/glitchy effects and introduces really interesting rhythms

- There's a step sequenced waveshaper. Use it to distort and mess up your beats. Use a few steps and draw a different wave shape into each of them, then hear the morphing distortion effect you get on your beats!

And that's just for starters..

You know what's funny? Is everytime a Glitch thread comes up I see new suggestions that i've never heard of before. Some people might say "hey there's a ton of glitch threads here already" but I think it's fun that these threads keep coming up cause I never heard of Cyclotron and Metal Mickey for starters.

It should also be pointed out that getting a hold of a few samples from some fine KVR developers can't hurt as well - static & beeps etc. Andrew Duke's Chain Reaction, Soniccouture's Konkrete, and the two packs on SampleSquad are a few for starters.

i dont really understand most mangling plugs-- especially things like cyclotron... are we supposed to be automating all of this? I mean it REALLY messes up sounds, doesnt sound like a beat at all, at least in the presets. are mangling plugs supposed to be constantly changing? i just DONT get it. enlighten me plssss.
