Press the exclamation mark. It will send an all notes off message to whatever it is connected to.

NDC MIDI plugins are invaluable to me. I like to to trigger CC messages to toggle the notes on & off with ForceToKey. This way you can control the pitches of one MIDI stream with the pitches of another MIDI stream/track.

Here is an example template...also requires MungRack if you don't already have it.

Here is another example, to demonstrate it at work... I have added ControlFront to trigger some random notes into the MIDIForce2Key. only the notes you hold on your controller will come through.

This example I needed to "quantise" the random notes so it's in sync with the host, you will need to start play on the sequencer for the random notes to make it through the "quantiser".

Needs this plugin and this one.

Expanding the example here with a ChordToggle made for another thread. So now each single note on your controller will toggle between the chords...which control the MIDIForce2Key plugin.

will need PolyChannel plugin.

...and don't forget to hit play in the sequencer or the notes wont come through.

So far the random notes are staying in the note range in which they were generated... In this example I added a "Transposer" between the quantiser and MIDIForce2Key so the range follows our position on the controller.

Also love the NoteRangeFilter for seting keyboard zones live. So far all the incoming notes are going into the "Transposer" and "Chord Toggle".

In this example I've setup 3 seperate keyboard zones which you can set from your controller.
To use make sure the main sequencer is playing...

open the "ControlBox" Usually I use a munger in my setup, but I added this for covienience to enter the "ZoneRange set mode", so you can map a MIDI note, CC message, or even qwerty key(this requires the ControlBox be in focus).

Right now they are mapped as follows:

Zone1 C-2 or "1" key ...This zone routes to the "ChordToggle"
Zone2 C#-2 or "2" key ...This zone routes to the "Transposer"
Zone3 D-2 or "3" key ...This zone is not routed to anything yet.
Map them to a control message that works for your setup.

Once you have triggered one of these controls, you can hold the high and low note on your controller to set that zones range. Remember dont hit any key until you have left control mode or switched to set another zone...otherwise you will mess up your zone which you just set.

Also this setup uses SomaCCForm

...any questions?
