Toxic III Ordered - Where is it?

It's been almost 24 hours since I ordered Toxic III. I haven't gotten an email or a confirmation email that I even ordered it. Is this normal? How long does the processing take?

Just wondering. Getting a little nervous. There really should be a support page on both Image Line's site and WorldPay's but there isn't.

Edit: 2 hours later after this post I just got email from support@flstudio. Amazing.

Apparently there was a problem with my order processing. I used Firefox when ordering so I switched to IE. Everything seemed to work okay and I got a confirmation email instantly. I also chatted with a helpful support person. Did my post here have anything to do with expediting this or was it a coincidence? We'll never know....

Thank you KVR anyway. :D

I used my reg code to download the installer and installed Toxic III but it still plays like the demo with a sound dropout occasionally. I unistalled the demos of Toxic III (and Toxic II) before I installed Toxic III. Installations should be a little more smoother than this. I haven't contacted tech support because it' still the weekend in Europe - but first thing tonight (when it's morning there) I'll get on it.

When I click on the Toxic III logo the popup also still says "Toxic III Demo 1.1". In Tracktion, in the plugin list the word "Demo" did in fact disappear and it just says "Toxic III". Also when I drag to a track.

Has anyone else experienced installation problems?

Did you actually 'run' the reg code?

i.e., when you log into FLStudio, your 'home page' has an option where you can download a ".reg" file. You need to double-click this and add it to the registry for the plugin to work.

Post

There was no instruction to do that. All that I saw was something that said put it in your FLStudio VST directory or something - which I cannot do since I am using Tracktion. I'll try this. Thanks.

That worked. Thanks Fandango! :)

My lousy DSL connection then... :(

I'm awaiting my .reg file or whatever too - but it's cool as the FL guys state that they go through each order by hand (due to fraud) and do this week-day/office hours - so it's all cool - assuming I get it sometime tomorrow  :D

Awesome synth - couldn't pass up the opportunity to own it at $59 (even if the license is non-transferable)

Don't worry you won't ever want to transfer it anyhow :)

actually, firefox has screwed me on downloading things (it caches them), so it's not perfect, but.. never had a issue with the IL shop using it.

are you sorted now?

grymmjack: Everything is cool. I love it. Which leads me to,...

ATS: I second your comment about transfering the license. Toxic III is a no-brainer for purchasing. (Although the Absynth 3 offer NI is having was very tempting :D )

Naughty! :x :hihi:

(and reminded me of something I meant to do when my paycheck came in... :D)

By the way, is it possible to load these presets by default? Or do you have to use the host's "load fxb/fxp" every time?

Thanx Nick! :D Just shipped your order. :D

As for the question...I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I imagine you'll have to use the hosts load function. If you're using a preset in a project, however, your host should automatically recall it upon loading the project file. :) So you won't have to go through the entire process everytime. :)

Got 'em! Thanks. :D

About the preset loading, I just realised energyXT's drag&drop from it's browser also includes presets, which is a nice. Seems you can just set a link to a custom presets folder and pull them straight into ToxicIII.

Oh, and Tim gets extra marks for the DUNE refs. He is truly the Kwisatz Haderach... :hihi:
