I am trying to polish an acoustic guitar track. Does anyone know of a good EQ that has a preset for acoustic guitar. I like presets (lazy).

Thanks

No EQ preset will ever give you instant results, because:
a) there are too many variables in how the recording sounds
b) there are too many variables in how the result is supposed to sound.

Try a simple 3- or 4-band parametric EQ (like ParisEQ) and sweep some bands. You'll get the hang of it eventually...

Voxengo GlissEQ that I'm currently demoing has one.
Also has very nice features:
Switcheable "nods" type
Overlay function
Configureable dynamic mode
"A" to "B"
Etc...

Try the demo, it might end up on your "buy" list (like mine).
No, that wasn't me.

I don't use the presets so much but I bought GlissEQ because I used the demo on acoustic guitar and liked the result.

Voxengo Harmonieq!!!! That is the one for acoustic, not only becasue it has a preset, but it really adds a real natural sounding top end "sparkle" and clarity.. Try it, I think it is actually one of the most overlooked eqs on the market, perhaps casue it seems like it is more of a specialty eq rather than a bread and butter, and whiloe this may be true, i find it works on many things especially when one is looking to add some fine detail, such as an acoustic guitar.
