I'm pleased to see that Noisevault is back...I just d/l'ed SIR. But I'd like to know if these impulse responses are SIR-specific, or if they're for general use, or if there are other places to get impulses that SIR can understand...I suppose I just don't fully understand the technology and its limitations.

If people can recommend some really great impulses and where to get them, I'd be grateful. Especially natural spaces, halls, churches, and weird environments.

SIR can load any wav file you throw at it ... doesn't have to be a reverb

Well, as long as people are actually responding to this...don't you have to feed it both the raw impulse and then the reverb'd impulse after it?

Impulses for SIR?
