The feature comparison chart on steinbergs site mention that SL does not support "Surround: True multichannel audio path".

cant say for sure - i have sx - but the surround thing is about using 5.1 wavs on a 5.1 channel AFAIK - so would have thought quad buses exist
you could go here http://www.steinberg.net/410_1.html and download the manual tho

I believe every thread should devolve into character attacks and witch-burning. It really helps the discussion.

thanks, I've downloaded the manual but I am still not quite sure what to think. Actually the manual makes me think that quadro groups are not supported in SL.
Any cubase SL users out there that can tell me if quadro groups are possible?

1) Add track -> Group Channel
2) Instead of mono or stereo, select "Quadro".
Thanks!

hey mate, thanks for describing this. Unfortunately I have bad news for you. when creating a group track in SL, I only get the options of Mono or Stereo.Dr. Feelgood wrote:I'd appreciate thatsoundpalace wrote:I'm an SL user, although I've never tested this before, if you can give me a quick step by step of what I must do, I can give it a try.

FotsWhen I used it in SX, I think it was something like:
1) Add track -> Group Channel
2) Instead of mono or stereo, select "Quadro".
Thanks!
Hope this helps
