hi !

i wonder if there's any bitcrusher like the logic internal ?
i think the logic bitcrusher is the best sounding i have ever heard.

is there something similar as vst or dx ?

Don't know the one in Logic, anything in particular that made it stand out?

it combines both analog and digital dist
...should be possible to combine plugs of both to reach the same effect,

but to find something really similar....not so obvious !

It's PC only, but CMT bitcrusher might do the trick. Bit reduction, downsampling, and a drive stage with 3 distortion modes.

CamelPhat 3: 4 types of distortion, including Tube and Bitcrusher.

Also: Multiband Bitcrusher I. Very nice sound. Or check these out.

I don't know about the Logic bitcrusher, but you could try out Sonitex STX-1260 which allows you to combine bitcrushing and distortion (and a whole bunch of other stuff).
