could anyone elaborate how to get Renoise running with wine?
It does start on my system, but it's infidently slow; running an 80 lines pattern @ 6/125 takes nearly a minute from beginning to end..

But be warned that it's far from being officially marked as "Working under Linux". I had tried a few months ago, it launched fine but then there were graphical glitches and it was also annoyingly slow.

And no, VST won't work...

It's not a port at all. EnergyXT2 is dual platform and has been from pretty much the start, jorgen has stated more than once that he already has it running in Linux. Native w32 vst support isn't going to happen anytime soon as far as we know though.

Well that's a bit surprising considering Windows GDI has nothing to do with X "structure" AFAIK.

I thought Ext - given its low ressources - was heavily optimized by clever Windows API programming, hence specific to the Win32 plateform.

Same for audio, I guess Alsa is totally different from ASIO, how could Ext be multiplateforme right away ?

But there's probably already a thread about it, I admit I didn't search for it.
