No hurry, let me finish the documentation and preset saving first.

For finger picking try to adjust the Velocity Compression (12) and Velocity Offset (13). Btw, it's not a good idea to hit the strings to hard, better use these 2 settings. OpenString Velocity Offset (14) is always relative to Velocity Offset.

Also, if some of your strings don't have the same velocity range, you can adjust that in the registry ( HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NCPLUS APPLICATION\EZ_G\StringVeloA ), where you can define for each string the lowest and highest velocity you can get. This will be later part of the app/plug, but for now that's the only way to adjust by string (one of my string has a 15-20 velocity difference).

You registered the ez group with the same id and mail, except that you are using a 3 instead of the 2.

To make it work in SX, got to SX preference, MIDI, MIDI Filter and make sure SysEx Record and Thru are unchecked.
Then,
Track1, record enabled : EZ-AG midi port -> EZgVSTiM
Track2, monitor enabled : EZgVSTiM -> VSTI Synth or external Synth
And in the EZ plug, make sure Use SysEx (4) is checked.

I badly forgot something here

Track1, record enabled, Channel = Any : EZ-AG midi port -> EZgVSTiM
Track2, monitor enabled, Channel = Any or 1-16 : EZgVSTiM -> VSTI Synth or external Synth

Hi People,

Anyone using this EZ-AG thing with Ableton Live (I'm on version 5.2)?? If so, anything I need to know before shelling out my hard earned reddies on this?

Any patches required? Any set up in Ableton needed? etc...etc...

it works for me. I just use midi OX to use the scripts and run it right into Live.

I got an EZ-TP trumpet. It's a lot of fun, I don't know any trumpet fingerings or what intervals the pitch can detect, but I can play random notes. I have a vid of it at: http://runbeerrun3.tripod.com

Too bad yer vids are .rm's I just don't do Real Player.The TP sounds like fun, I've been thinking about getting one meself. I also see you've gotten a Hothand. Man those look
really cool been wanting check one out.

There's an alternative to Real Player called Real Alternative. Works for me, and none of the BS of Real Player!

BTW, what kind of midi data do you get from it ?
When holding a note can you modulate the volume (CC7), or does it sending some cc continuously, like a breath conroller ?
