I can not seem to find anything about a native sidechaining in logic pro. Do you have some details on this?

AFAIK, logic audio has always had proper built in sidechaining. It's like in pro tools, you simply select what track/mixer channel drives the soundchain. I have not used logic in a while so my memory might fail me.

The version info in the Demo 'About' form still says 1.00. Just a heads up, I'm looking forward to trying this plug in the weekend.

thx.

Can't wait to see the Mac versions of your plugs, Torben! I was quiet a bit disappointed as I thought they would come at the same time with the GAG... Must have misunderstood this...

So I keep  for another couple of weeks... :)

Btw, it would be great to see native sidechaining on the AU-Version. It must be possible in LogicPro, as there are other plugins (i.e. the URS compressors) that can do it. I promise you to buy the plug at full price instead of the reduced introduction price, if you make it sidechainable :D

I am informed that it should be possible for us to make sidechain versions in AU and RTAS.

friteuse, right now we got a foot in two different development environments and until we begin developing 100% in the new system Mac versions will be released later than Win versions.

What would you say are the major differences from the Sonitus Gate? It seems to have all the gate bases covered at a pretty reasonable price.
Intel Core i7 8700K, 16gb, Windows 10 Pro, Focusrite Scarlet 6i6

short question: will the sidechaining work in ableton live5?

Post

Well, just ordered my copy of this fantastic gate. It's already inspired me to create several new tunes, well at least concepts. :hihi:

Cheers!

Just been to the "buy" shareit page, it says the price is $80.00 CDN. Well, $65.00 at current exchange rate is $73.00, not $80.00. Where does the extra 7 bucks goes? If it goes to Shareit, I'll take another payement option if at all possible as I don't particularly like them to begin with, not enough to give them extra money freely.
No, that wasn't me.

I was playing with the demo. Seems to work on audio channels easy enough. I haven't figured out how it works on instrument channels.

Oops, it works fine for instrument channels.

I think they are pretty different. Sound and versatility would be the first differences coming to mind.

According to the information I got it should!

Shareit is the ones making the currency exchange; we only define the price in USD. It might be cheaper to pay in USD and let your bank do the currency exchange than letting Shareit do it.

Thanks

I just went to purchase GAG-1. However, Shareit insists on using Euro as the currency. I have tried to change to both USD and our local DKK, but no ... Euro it has to be. I guess Shareit think we use Euro in Denmark.

The cost for this is an added 10% compared to paying $58 + 16% VAT and letting my bank do the exchange. As it is Shareit charges for exchanging to Euro and then I have to pay my bank for exchanging to DKK.

Find another solution. Meanwhile I will put my order on hold, just out of principle. Though it is not a lot of money, it does affect many of your customers.

Tom, you just select "US Dollar" in the drop downbox on the first shareit page. I have done this many times and I just tested it again.

This USD trick worked for me as well (The Netherlands).
