Went to the zoo yesterday with the lad and missus, fun but exhausting.

So today is lazy day. Here's a little sketch I made this morning, thought it'd be fun to share. Took a clip of me playing MrRay73 and then did some live rearranging of the audio. Almost music-like for those I normally confound.

SIGHUP sketch #01

Hope you enjoy.

Glad to hear. I agree, fits my state today perfectly.

Nicely played shamann.
Has that drone, meditative feel i'm into this month.
Tell me though. What the heck is going on with that delay chain?
I'm trying to figure it out,but I just can't grasp what's happening.
There really seems to be something before the delay that is selecting in some way, what notes will repeat and so forth.
That effect had me going man .haha

I call it mojo.

No, it's actually fairly simply done. There are two parts being played, the bass and the lead one octave up, both made out of the same audio material. Only the bass line has delay on it. The delay has a high-pass filter on (using Dubstation), so at points when the notes in the lead line are in sync with the bass line, it'll trick your ear from the missing bass frequencies in the echoes. I'd guess that the general choppiness of the notes and the regularity of the echo contributes to the effect.

Thanks for listening, glad you liked it.

Heh...not so simple though.I've got the basic idea now,but i'll have to think this through later when I have more awake brain matter to think with.ha

Me too.

But this is good for my extremely hungover self right now. Interesting without being too abrasive.

I mean, I love abrasive, but not when my head feels like someone keeps throwing golf balls at it.

And here I was thinking I had toned down the confoundingness. Oh, well.

Thanks for listening, gentlemen.
