CPU for all of them is higher than average, but not problematic for me. With ChoirBoy though, I wasn't at all impressed by the sound quality on the samples I tried it with. (Perhaps I was using it wrong).
So far though I really do like Wider Boy Pro, think Convo Boy is great (but I don't need it as I have Perfect Space already)... and remain very interested in Space Boy (and CLone Boy) which I am continuing to demo...
Several of them have given me problems (including full system crashes) in Sonar, however. They seem fine in Ableton and Adobe.
Thanks again.

Thanks Paul.
In fact I followed the tip on your site about editing the aud.ini file. This has resolved the transport issue I reported on the other thread. Doh!
I have had a system crash since then, but in general they seem to be behaving much better!
I have elimiated about half of them from my personal interest (because I don't basically have a need/use for them) and am concentrating on demoing those that I am most interested in now.
Have to say - some of these effects really are excellent - thanks!

Paul
"Creativity Tools" would possibly be spot on if only I could swap Choir Boy for Space Boy. Once I've run the demos a bit more of course I might get Creativity Tools and Space Boy.

With an insert effect like Choir Boy, surely you/he could simply Freeze it in Tracktion anyway?ttoz wrote:I reported on my cpu usage with choir boy and requested more details about how hard exactly it is hitting your cpu...a few posts backmorelia wrote:You called?ttoz wrote:Morelia?

Ahh I see, I'll check it out and report back.ttoz wrote:I reported on my cpu usage with choir boy and requested more details about how hard exactly it is hitting your cpu...a few posts backmorelia wrote:You called?ttoz wrote:Morelia?
Need a little help. Tracktion is where the issue occurs. It doesn't give a CPU %. So how do I get the CPU consumption figure?

Ok, soloed a lead track and used Choirboy. CPU(peak) went from 19%-36%. Using all 3 pitch sliders, gui closed. AMD2000XP
