Ok, im pretty damn good when it comes to AP (im using AP4 btw), but im kinda stuck and need some help.
Ok, so ive got the VSTi Vanguard on one track and i want to create an "envelope" of some sort so i can fade in and out the Filter Cutoff at certain points of my song.
How would i go about this?
Do i have to go into the List Editor of the midi track to do it?
Little help!

In version 6 it's easy (you actually have to select for the midi to loop in v6 as opposed to it always doing so), so it must have been an issue with earlier versions.sgx wrote:I've got a midi question - I don't think there is a way to edit the length of a midi loop - and it is making me mad. If i remember right, there's a workaround of sorts though in earlier versions, if you do what i said above, but select a redundant parameter (something that wont affect any of the synth parameters) and draw values outside the loop length, then whatever amount you draw will determine the length of the midi track. Does that make sense at all?
another simpler way is to add a note just before where you want the midi track to end and give it a 0 velocity value.

Just like to put in a vote here for AcidPro6. It's a big leap up from from previous versions. A huge improvement in almost every way: midi, feature set, stability etc

I'm talking about Pro 6 here. I'm sorry I didn't understand what you said referring to 6. Is there an easy way to adjust loop length of a midi clip? In Live and Project5, which I am used to, there's a little marker at the end you can move around that represents the loop stop point. I can't find anything similar in 6.Reverse Engineer wrote:In version 6 it's easy (you actually have to select for the midi to loop in v6 as opposed to it always doing so), so it must have been an issue with earlier versions.sgx wrote:I've got a midi question - I don't think there is a way to edit the length of a midi loop - and it is making me mad. I'm a bit dissapointed in Pro 6. You can't use any aux sends from a vsti bus which is pretty ridiculous, as far as I can tell, midi loop editing has issues, and using it with Reason locks up the computer every 5 minutes (Sony reps have confirmed this bug and said the fix will be in 6.0b update.) It's pretty unusable for me as of right now.
