how to edit stylus loops with plug-in vsts

hi , i'm workin with stylus rmx currently & i can't seem to find out how to process the sound of stylus with one of my vsts (like compression on the kick) i know stylus has fx .. but i know u can do that cause the video turoial said u can but never showed how...
i'm using cubase sx 3 if anyone could point me in the right direction it will be much appricated thx in advance

if you want to effect individual instruments independantly with external efx, you would need to use kit mode. internally, you can use the mixer page to feed sends.

Just put the kick slices into an edit group, then route that edit group to a separate output. You can then add your own vst effects to the kicks on that channel in the host mixer. It's quite simple, but see the edit group video tutoral for a demonstration of how to do it.
