Hi guys, not sure if this is a legit post, but I would like to let you guys know about a sample CD i have up for sale. It's called Funk Generator Vol. 1, and it's basically a whole bunch of loops that I made in my own sonic travels, then decided to polish and wrap up for public consumption. A lot of them are up on my site, (about half), and any feedback on them would be cool, whether or not you feel like or would even consider buying it.

anyway, I made these for the purpose of slicing and recombining with one-shots and other loops to build up thicker/hotter beats. It'd be cool to hear what you think, the site is:

mods, if this post is out of line, please delete and I'm sorry for wasting bandwidth ;)

PS the CD is half off until 60 people buy it, i.e. forever

this has small .mp3 versions of about half of the content, check it out, I am pretty proud of some of these.

Just listened to some of those mp3s. VERY nice, i might add. :) The mp3 quality doesnt do justice to your loops though. You might want to increase the quality, and add some background voice or something to protect it from getting copied. jmio.

yes, but I walk the balance between laziness and... quality I guess. I can batch-convert into low-quality, or I can spend the time manually altering files... oh well. You are right though. I might upload some of the nicer ones in high quality when I get the time. Thanks for checking it out, I appreciate the comments.

----Cool, are they Acidized with tempo and key information by chance ?

some are, some are not, there isn't much key information but the majority were saved acidized with tempo labels. Sorry for the variation. One way to look at it is the best ones do have those qualities, so if you need that you won't miss much ;)

edit: what I mean by there isn't much key information is that it's basically all drums, so the key doesn't come into play much.
