I can't until I get home from work, but it can?! I knew it could do DX7, but if it can load FM7 (even if experimental and not perfect) it would be awesome!reflex wrote: Umm... You may want to look again
Now HERE is a synth that is floating my boat

There are almost always clues to the source of a change though. It's fairly easy to recognise them when you're familiar with the synth.speccyteccy wrote:The problem with programming synths is that it's not possible to tell from a glance what's going on in a patch.
I've spent a lot of time over the last few years programming synths, and I've realised that the difference between a good and a great patch can be just a tweak away, so the way I work is to keep coming back to patches and refining them. With Sytrus you have to go through pages and pages just to see what operators and envelopes are doing.

Take also a look at www.patcharena.com (http://www.patcharena.com) They have a very nice Kieron bank with 128 presets.-

I don't know if it's difficult unless I try it. It's definitely possible (requires reverse engineering the dx7 preset format unless it's documented), but I don't see it happening. Probably too much work and I already have lots to dosmart wrote:Is this impossible to do? I wouldn't be suprised, but it sure would be cool if you could find a way to make it work.

just go to the sytrus forum on the fl studio websitesmart wrote:I too am suprised that theres not tons and tons of presets for Sytrus.
It's such a great synth - theres tons of programmability and it's got a great sound to it. Why aren't more people working with those awesome envelopes!
