Just a heads-up for those of you with PODs, GuitarPorts, TonePort etc - you should load up your Monkeys and go download the Gearbox, which turned out to be exactly what I needed. Due to some unresolved Java problem I've got, the Line6Edit app won't work, so I've lacked a good online editor for my tones. The Gearbox doesn't have this problem, so now I'm happy. It's basically the Guitarport program, only now it's pumped up with all the new bass amps and new effects and other goodies from the last POD update, so I can edit all the bits and pieces on the computer in stead of on the POD. If Edit works for you this might not be so interesting, but you also get new ASIO drivers, a sorely needed upgrade for me as now I can use the Line6 ASIO driver whereas before I couldn't really...
The online tone library works as well now, so I have really had some fun the last couple of days.

I've been enjoying gearbox with my xt live a lot...it's superior in most ways to line six edit...but one thing I do not see...a way to connect the pedal to another parameter. In line 6 edit I can assign the pedal to most of the parameters in modules (stomp, delay, mod....ect) I am using, but no with gearbox....the save to pod works better, the fact it opens quicker is nice...the cosmetic things are better and I think the tuner is better...I haven't noticed a change with the new asio drivers because I haven't tried them yet
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
