Sounds great, really. I liked Milestone and this sounds really well thought out. I do, however, wish there was a way to easily control it for those of us without a wind controller. couldn't the expression just as easily be controlled by velocity? (If memory serves milestone and this were written with wind controllers specifically in mind)

At any rate, you're making some really nice plugs that, based on the sax and trumpet samplesets I've heard, are a million times more playable and pleasant on the ears.

Try controlling expression with your mod wheel. Takes some getting used to, but works nicely IMO.

That's what I was doing, just seemed counterintuitive for those of us using a keyboard controller

first of all thanks !
i have a question does the xboard emu accept Breath Control ?
what controller that accepts Breath Control would do the trick (i have already a xboard 49 and a berhinger bcr 2000)
so i search a controller with breath control but wich would complete my setup

CME MasterKeyboards, Yamaha Motif and S90 keyboards, Yamaha DX7 all accept BC.

i think for those who'd like to use velocity for expression, it may be possible using something like nicfit's midimunger in ext or another host with flexible midi routing.

sure it may be a little cumbersome, but i'm pretty sure it'd work.

before i forget: thank you for this plug. don't know how soon i'll have the time to try it out, but i'm sure it's awesome... :D

Post

btw.. for fl users that don't have a breath controller:

you can use the keyboard controller. ;)

Using it without a breath controller is easy:
if you want to use your mod. wheel, set Expression CC# to 1, if your keyboard has Aftertouch, set AT instead of CC, and use CC# 1 for vibrato.
Now, in the same page raise Min.Expr. a bit and adjust Max.Expr. to an optimal value.

Btw, with a BC it's easier to obtain a more natural sound. Don't forget that saxophone is a wind instrument :D

SUPERB!

edit:
dont play this, or milestone, at too low an octave. it breaks them.
