I gave myself a good scare when I first tried playing it with my wind controller - nothing came out! I'd forgotten that I'd set up the WX5 to send breath pressure information on controller 11 (Expression) instead of 2 (Breath), because some synths, notably Cube, have Expression on their modulator menu, but not Breath. Which brings me to a suggestion that comes out of my experience with Cube: Maybe there are functions - and I'm thinking specifically of breath noise - that you'd want to optionally modulate with the *inverse* of a controller envelope. If, for example, the breath noise *decreased* as Breath/Expression level *increased*, you could alternate quiet, breathy passages with more resonant louder passages.

Just a thought. More feedback when I've had more time to play the thing. And Guido, ancora una volta, grazie!

Hello Guido

Been cheking out Sax-o-phunk and I really like the expressiveness of the instument. In my setup, I have expression controlled by foot pedal, growl by mod wheel, and vibrato with AT.

May I suggest one improvement? This has to do with the breath noise factor. Sometimes I would like to hear less noise to appreciate the basic sound of the sax. The noise seems to be linked with the expression amount. It seems to come in at too high a volume as the expression is increased. Maybe there could be a way to start with no noise and ramp it up at higher expression levels. Another fix would be to create a separate control for the breath noise (like vibrato, growl, and expression). This way the amount of noise could be assinged to AT or whatever to control the right amount (from nothing to full breath).
