This is a Q my friend asked me to post for him. He's looking for sample CDs (or better, tutorials for creating own stuff) for Industrial Music, Psy-Trance and electronic in general.
Well one CD that comes to mind at once is the Vengeance Essentials FX CD/DVD. However, personally I think this is too trance like. Maybe somebody can elaborate and give some suggestions?
And I really like the idea getting tutorials how to create all that stuff by yourself. However barely any so called "sound designer" shares their tricks.

Well, this is something you could try. Try getting the Texture VSTi and some VST host that will easily let you render various sounds from it (I recommend REAPER despite what those other a******s say about it). It's good for ambient drones and other weird FX.
