Hello!
Downloaded the windows zebra 2 demo, and I cant seem to get it to work!
its a zip file: Z2VSTWin_310106.zip
In the zip, theres a .dll file, and some folders with presets etc. But no setup/install file.
Theres no instalation manual. Usualy a .dll file goes in the vst folder, but when I open the plug in a host (live or tracktion)it shows as just a white/blank vst page.
Id like to know what to put where?
thanks,
Kim

Hey,
just put the folder called "uhe_data" in the same directory as the .dlls...
The final version will have an installer, a testing version for exactly that is almost finished...
Manual in progress:

Cheers,
Urs

I'm guessing that you may have unzipped without preserving the folder structure.
If that is the case, when unzipping, use the Extract Here option (or whatever it is) rather than dragging all of the files out. Then, as Urs said, you'll end up with the DLL in the root folder along with a uhe_data folder that contains all of the other files.
Not having a setup file is not too uncommon, and I actually prefer this, but I can understand that it can make life difficult for some people. It gives you a little more control over installing and uninstalling. I've read (in this forum) about some uninstalls that have removed a user's entire VST plugins folder because they installed it in the root, which the plugin proceeded to completely erase during uninstall.....

Though, theres no presets?
And possibly a bug for you: press and hold a key, take tune down slowly to -45. It gets a digital/metalic sounding blip around this aera.
And I cant find the filter?!

Ooops, copy the presets from uhe_data to C:\Program Files\u-he\Presets\Zebra2\
Can explain that later, I'm in a hurry now...

In Zebra, just click on an empty box in the matrix-like thing in the center...
