Does Acid 6 ever close?

I am using the demo and when I close it it closes but if later I try to turn off my computer it won't turn off because low and behold Acid was still running I guess in the background. So then it opens a dialog to close the Acid.exe and then my computer will finally turn off. Anyone experience this.

Uninstall the demo and install the latest 6b demo.
It does sound like a bad installation because this problem is not being reported as a bug at the Sony ACID forum.
If re-installation doesn't help then get in touch with Sony. Their support is reasonably quick and comprehensive.

Are you running any plugins when you use the demo version?? This use to happen to me when I ran certain Sony Plugs in my DAW.. then when I shutdown the app I would get cycles left running or the app itself would not fully shutdown.. It could also have something to do with the Manager thingy that Acid uses (sorry stopped using Acid a while back).. What are your comp specs.?
