Hey,

On the Crysonic website, it is mentioned that the expected release date of Spectra'PHY is 31 JULY 2006... http://www.crysonic.com/upcoming.html

This day is ending now, so what are they doing with their release dates (which were just updated last week).

For information, Spectra'PHY is a transparent mastering limiter/maximizer.

Yeah, you're right.

Maybe I'm too excited about this plugin. When it deals with compressors and limiters I can't wait to hear the difference .

Hmm, yes, a "Physics based mastering limiter." Do most mastering limiters defy the laws of physics?

I was sort of hoping from the name that it would be a spectral atrophy effect. Really wanted to hear how that turned out. Guess I'll have to wait for their next one, Spectra'Py, the Spectral Entropy effect, a Thermodynamics mastering whatever (for those times you need your mix to inevitably dissipate).

Hey, if you are disapointed, just try the demo and hear by yourself, I'll post comments about the sound later, just installing.
