As shamann said, sort of wide-open claustrophobia going on - it's both spacious and suffocating. The shift around the halfway mark is pretty vertigo-inducing.
Good to see you recording again!

Can it be true? If so, can't wait to see what you make of/with it. I'm waiting on my R5 update right now too, now that I have a less medieval computer.

I'm trying at least. I traded software for it, but I'm having some difficulty getting it authorized. The previous owner faxed in some kind of form, but when I go to the registration page using the authorization tool, it asks me to log in. When I go to create a new account, it tells me I have to use the authorization tool. Very weird. I'll contact NI later, hopefully have it sorted before month's end.dystonia_ek wrote:shamann wrote: Now I'm off to install Reaktor.![]()

Had it looping 3-4 times, great stuff. Thanks.
Mix is possibly a bit narrow both in frequencies and stereo field, but not enough to distract from the content.

That's because I realized when I woke up this morning that I had an effects chain inserted into patchmix(1818m) and I didn't realize it while I was tracking, so I mixed thinking the monitor FX I was hearing were present...jon wrote:Mix is possibly a bit narrow both in frequencies and stereo field, but not enough to distract from the content.
A typical Sickle f**k-up. Oh well..I'm not running for public office or anything. Thanks for listening!

CAUTION:
Listening may cause dependence, especially if it has been listened to regularly for an extended period of time (more than a few weeks), or if it has been listened to in high doses. If you suddenly stop listening, withdrawal reactions (e.g., anxiety, irritability, sweating, trouble sleeping, diarrhea) may occur. Report to your sound designer immediately any such reactions. When stopping extended, regular listening of this track, gradually reducing the time spent listening , as directed , will help prevent withdrawal reactions. Consult your sound designer for more details.
Though it is very unlikely to occur, this track can also result in abnormal sound-seeking behavior (addiction/habit-forming). Do not increase your listening, listen to it more frequently or listen to it for a longer period of time than prescribed. You should properly stop this listening when directed by your sound designer. This will lessen the chances of becoming addicted.
If you listen for an extended period of time, it may alter your perceptions and you will need to listen to additional tracks , in a similar vein. Talk with your sound designer if you think this track has f**ked you up .

When I f**k something up, I do it the RIGHT way..
@ norm: You're sooo dramatic..It's not like I had time to embed any negative-reinforcing binaural frequencies or anything..
