Yes, I too wondered why it's so big - probably the iLok USB Key is also included in the installation file...

BTW, I'm still waiting for a link to the Elemental Audio Systems Inspector 1.2.2!!!

Or maybe it's because he is not competent enough to compile the new (gui) source code properly ?

It's hard for me to imagine that Pace multiplies the original binary size by 4,5.

It doesnt. The iLok driver/client download is 7Mb.

Well, when a hardware key is translated to software, it certainly takes a little space...
Say 60 MB.

elemental inspector NOT xl

Anyway it is your conscience i'm not going to judge anyone.

First of all, the colors are ugly as f*ck, and second... HE DIDN'T CHANGE A THING!

So that large download is not adjusted, neither is the priceoverload.. I want back my dark violet touch.

Nah really. It's way better on the eye (unlike the grey version), you have to admit that. I really hope, should iXL be upgraded (5.1?) sometime, that it won't be f**ked up.

Incidentally, not quite so sure on PC, but on Mac it's often relatively easy to customise the graphics. So you could always buy/download the RND version and airbrush out his logo, or put your own studio's on instead

(Not that I condone reverse-engineering or altering software, as this is specifically forbidden in the licenses of pretty much all software products yadayadayada...)

And I just noticed that the RND version of Inspector Free does have a slightly changed gui layout, as well... or it could just be my copy of the free one is fairly old...
