Just to add I find higher frequency samples are better than low bassy sounds and samples with quick attack like kicks snares and stabs also work better.

Don't have any other browser handy at the moment (I'm in Linux). There are gaps in the boxes .. here, I'll just take a screen shot for you.

What screen resolution are you? does it change when you make the window smaller?

Wow, that's it. I'm at 1440x900. There's a magic width where it looks great (not quite sure what it is, maybe 1024?), and any bigger than that it goes all gappy. There's no in between.

Try reloading the page I think I have solved the problem and is it doing it on any other pages.
