you be the judge!...didn't really know where it was going 'til it was done

I wanted to use several really cool things that have just come out:
a couple of dover666's fx (s-Kamp,ezwarp) and some of the new sounds for Lazysnake from TOTC productions as well as a little dub delay number that Jack Dark cooked up for runagate.
I threw one instance of AnarchyRhythms on part of the drum track just because I think it's one of the coolest things since indoor plumbing.

thanks for listening, Frank... hope it's not too bad, but I have come to the conclusion that it's more uneven than Id like...may redo the mix (not that i could come near a TOTC mix

lol. I haven't done a good mix in quite some time. In fact, I don't think I've ever posted one here.

Most of the tracks I've posted up here are product demos mixed in a matter of 15 minutes.

As for the track....great stuff! Really nice glitch-chillout type stuff.

Damn those EP sounds are excellent!

Really though, it's a superb track...as for the mix, It's not that bad...it is lacking a certain coherence though....At least on my studio monitors (obviously most listeners are going to be listening on those though)...The glitch-like hi-hat throughout the song is a bit too centered and loud IMO. Not a terrible problem, but it seems to stay separated from the mix. Could be fixed by panning it out a bit, or maybe just lowering the volume, or both.

Either way, again, excellent composition. If you still have the original unmastered wave file, send it over to me at my totcproductions email addy and I'll master it for you this week. Free of charge.

did i tell you yet i love this track. reminds me of some of my long nights with one ping. but you used drums too. nice. i'm listenig to the totcproductions mix right now. i hadn't heard it yet. smoothness. peace.
