Hi,

I was wondering whether there are any guitar sample libraries that offer a selection of both acoustic and electric guitars (something like Sampletank)? Since Sampletank doesn't appear to be Universal Binary, I figure now would be a good time to start building up a sample library.

The only one that comes to mind is the upcoming Chris Hein Guitars library, otherwise it seems most are either electric or acoustic.

ManyGuitar is wonderful! It doesn't have the largest library (in terms of Gb) but the sound quality, GUI, ease of use, etc. are top notch. And you don't have to sell your real guitar to buy it.

We have a steel string guitar library soon available (Owerland guitar) and the "Monzter Guitars" if you want electric Nu Metal distortion.

PS! You need a virtual sampler supporting soundfonts, gigasampler, HALion or Kontakt format to use them.

There is no acoustic guitar in my DirectGuitar but for $89 you can have an entire electric guitar sample library direct recorded so you can use it with your amp simulator and create an infinite number of guitar sounds.
