I was asked this question over at Propellerheads' forum....
"I am wondering about these, especially the Solo Strings look very tempting. Multi-mic is a bit of an overkill, but multi-velocity sampled is a must these days. My drum tracks sound completely different due to this. I can't find anywhere if Sonic Reality's Miroslav Refill is multi-velocity. Are they?"

Well it isn't as MUCH of a must as it would be for dynamic drums. But, there is SOME velocity switching in some patches throughout the refills. I would say that is a speciality of it though. That said, sometimes with orchestral sounds that can kind of make it sound fake (unless you have a TON of them and the transitions are seemless) so it depends... but the Miroslav orchestral sounds are programmed to be highly expressive both dynamically and over time. Of course most of it has to do with the samples themselves and they are beautiful and inspiring.
One good bit of news though is that we are updating our freesoundz section of esoundz to have a ton of free rexes as well as a Miroslav mini refill for free! So anyone can try out some of this stuff first-hand probably by the end of the week! They just have to join as a member of www.esoundz.com (which is free anyway). We're working on a lot of membership benefits right now for current and new people! Why not? Makes it fun and we want to build our memberships up so we can inform people of cool new things that we're coming out with and not leave it to chance that they'd miss it. Many, many great new things coming for Reason, SampleTank, Kontakt, Stylus RMX and more.
