Actually, you can resell them but there's a $99 transfer fee. If you do the math, if one was interested in a couple more IK plug-ins you might as well just get them all (and maybe even sell what you don't use perhaps).

I really only want CSR so I'll use my regular crossgrade, which is still a good deal.

Yes, the crossgrades are still a great deal. I think this is the best time to buy IK products because of all of the options to get everything you want/need. For the price of just two of them more or less though one could get ALL of them which is pretty amazing!dusted william wrote:I really only want CSR so I'll use my regular crossgrade, which is still a good deal.

Well obviously esoundz has nothing to do with that. It's up to the manufacturer whether there is one or not. I believe that's only if it is already registered. If it isn't then there's no way to know really where a new person registered came from I don't believe. So, there could be ways around it in certain cases, perhaps like this. But, anyway, it is what it is.krraqk wrote:sorry but as an user I find that transfer fee excesive.Squids wrote:Actually, you can resell them but there's a $99 transfer fee. There's no question that MOST software products and definitely sample products in particular really aren't so great for reselling. But, instead, they are really great value when buying it for the purpose of using it and it's not hard to get one's value out of it considering what it does... even just using it on SOME of your music is worth it since it isn't more than the price of a day in a decent studio and nowhere near the price of what it used to cost in hardware to come anywhere close in capability.
That's even that much more the case with discounted bundles like this where it is even less overall to get it. Like others were saying, $150ish per plug-in when it is a bundle like the Total Studio Bundle is made for people to buy and use! If one is able to get enough use out of it to be worth it then there shouldn't be a problem in my opinion. The more you do music as a profession the more used to paying for things you can't even KEEP when working on music (Studio time, rentals, session musician's time, agencies etc.) so paying a nominal price for software that does all of this is worth the sacrifice of less appealing resale options... at least for most people. Of course, if it's not then it's optional to buy and use these great tools! Personally I think anyone who didn't because of that is really missing out though. These plug-ins are staple pieces in so many people's set up, including mine. I rely on them for production all the time now. I can't even imagine not having them because they've helped to increase my workflow incredibly.

Squids-
These look great, though as an avowed IK-aholic, I've already got everything but MIRO. Where does Studiophonik fit into this mix? Do you expect that there would be any worthwhile package coming down the pike for someone like me who just needs Miro and SP? I realize that this may be classified information, so just blink once for 'yes' and twice for 'no.'
Cheers

Since I'm in the the same position as BERFAB, I'll be looking over his shoulder when and if you blink

O my god, $999 for the whole thing? That's ridiculous.
Think about it: Miroslav alone is $499, but for $500 more you so much, actually almost
everything some folks might ever need
sounds, sounds, sounds
and lots of top notch effects

There's just the crossgrades but that's still good for individual products. Not sure if Studiophonik will be a part of the Total bundles... probably not.BERFAB wrote:Squids-

I didn't get to read your rant but I appreciate you deleting it because it'd be off topic in this thread. This thread is an esoundz thread about getting you guys these great bundle deals in various shapes and forms.kovacs wrote:*rant deleted*Squids wrote:There's no question that MOST software products and definitely sample products in particular really aren't so great for reselling.krraqk wrote:sorry but as an user I find that transfer fee excesive.Squids wrote:Actually, you can resell them but there's a $99 transfer fee. Sorry.
We all know there are other places on the forum to specifically talk about company's policies for reselling and things like that. Remember that esoundz didn't make or even distribute these products (SR just did the sounds for some of them). We don't make those rules anyway so ranting to us is just frustrating since we can't do anything about it except show you the bright side and also give some perspective.
So, I guess if any of us are interested in buying these products for our own use without the need to feel like you'll be reselling it then we can continue talking about what a phenominal deal this is! I can't believe how many people have already pre-order it. It's only been up for one day. My only concern is if it got back-ordered because the big stores tend to do really well with these "complete" types of bundles. I want to make sure we order enough for esoundz customers so we can get still be able to offer it to you faster than anywhere.

The Total effect bundle sounds great Squids. Just wanted to know...non of the products are Universal Binary yet...any idea when any of these products are going to be?
T-Racks...going to be UB as well? I'm thinking that CSR and the 2 amps products are going to be.
Thanks Squids for your insight. Waiting for SS2, ST2 and Miroslav to be Universal Binary.
