Which freeware limiter is best for hip hop in your opinion?

W1 Limiter / TLS Pocket Limiter / TLS Maximizer / GMax / Volcano or BuzzMaxi3. Thanks. Just looking for opinions from others with experience with them. That's all, no harm no fault.

...and while you're testing the tls - stuff, have a look at the "TLS saturated driver" too, a "mixture between limiter and compressor" as the man who made it says. I like the TLS - plugs and the Yohng W1-limiter (betabugs have a nice skin for it 
) much. Don't know all you mention though. And I'm not into hip-hop, so my answer is not of THIS much help

My choice on free limiters for hip hop is the pocket. Once you get a handle on it you can get a really good one for cheap. I just got spectraphy for $50 and I think it sound really good for hip hop. Elephant and Mpl-1 and the limiter on Ozone are also very good.

Just thought I'd mention the Kjaerhus classic series limiter. I have no idea if it stands up in sound quality to the others you've mentioned, but it is free.

Not exactly a limiter, but there is this plug called "Simple Squeeze" by betabugs that can do wonders on the master channel on a hip hop track.
