An LFO is just a basic building block: Low Frequency Oscillator. Anything with a "speed" parameter thus has an LFO.
Basic modulation effects for guitar are: tremolo, vibrato, phazer, flanger, chorus, panning, lesley box, wah-wah-likes (resonant filter with LFO)
There are also seperate LFO plugins which can control ANY parameter on ANY effects plugin you can think of (if the plugin supports it, that is...) An example is Haydxn's CC-LFO, found at e.g. http://whiterabbitdesign.co.uk/subsites/mirrors/haydxn/

We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

Check out GLFO from this page:
http://www.gvst.co.uk/beta.htm
It has 3 LFO modulated effects: amplitude, pan, and filter. Also check out ndc's The Modulator 2:
http://www.niallmoody.com/ndcplugs/themodulator2.htm
If you come across the issue of Computer Music magazine with Audio Damage's Pulse Modulator (102 maybe? not sure if the plugin will always be available on the cover disc) it is a tremolo with 3 LFOs and a drive stage.
For some cash, Kjaerhus GMO-1 has 2 LFOs, a fairly flexible chorus/flanger/panner/tremolo effect.
