..no, there is no distortion other than the waveshaping which is at the heart of the instrument.. I do take your point though and I might well add a 6db LP filter so that you can get rid of some of the edge.. for those times when you don't want it...

.. but in the context of the question, what I said (sort of) made sence esspecially as I am not using a waveshaping module.. perhaps I'd have been better off saying wave-modulation.. oh I don't know, wheres me comfort blanket!! :D
