Is there a way to add Vibrato via the ModWheel in Sytrus?

Question is in the subject, obviously. I've been over the manual several times, and through the factory patches, and through the synth its self, and I just can't find a way to acheive this? I suppose I could use an operator as an LFO, at or under 20hz, and run it into the operator I'd like to modulate, then tie the Volume of the Modulator to the modwheel....but is there an easier way to do it....using the built in LFOs?

Thanx!

Depends on your host.
If your host allows linking your mod wheel to any parameter (like FL does), you could link your mod wheel to the master LFO slider, or the pitch env amount of the osc.

If not, then you can just link the volume of an FM mod to the Y modulator (which is linked to the mod wheel)

Hmm...Yeah, I was afraid that was all I could do. The master LFO amount won't work if I want to use LFO's on things other than Vibrato within the same patch though. :? I'll stick with option B. Thanx Tony! :D

Btw, most of the Sytrus presets have the X modulation on filter freq, and Y on filter res, so please keep that mapping, it's a standard in Sytrus & FL.

So if you want to use your mod wheel to control a filter freq, better switch the option 'Use MIDI modulation as X'. So maybe it's better to link your pitch mod to the X controller as well.

By the way, for any who are interested. I've been getting decent results tying the modwheel to an un-used operator's volume level, via the Articulation Section, setting it to a sub-audio rate, and then routing that operator to all the one's needing vibrato. Works pretty well if you route the vibrato oscillator into each other operator very lightly (settings between 2 and 10 have worked best for my purposes).

Great synth you've got here guys....It's pleasantly complicated. :)
