Hi there.
I am complete newbie that is kind of lost between all these plugins. I just want to know some VST plug-in (or maybe complete audio application) that can change the speed (tempo and pitch) of my sample but in a gradual way. I would like to specify speed value between some 2 points, and that effect does gradual speed increase/decrease. Of course, pitch of this sample would thus increase or decrease.
Typical stuff is just some square tone that "taps" slowly at the beginning, and by time it becomes faster and faster (and pitch is going higher and higher).

you can import the sample into a sampler like Kontatkt or Battery and automate the pitch/tune knob.

But do they have capability to let's say: load the WAV track, set the speed envelope (or multiple ramps) across the track, process the sample, and save it to output WAV? Of course, output track would not be of same length because it would get shorten on places where it was speeded up.PainKillerz wrote:you can import the sample into a sampler like Kontatkt or Battery and automate the pitch/tune knob.

sounds like a sound editing program like adobe audition or soundforge could do destructively before you pop into the host

I apologize for my not-so-good english, but I completely don't understand last part of sentence - "...destructively before you pop into the host" ?rpc9943 wrote:sounds like a sound editing program like adobe audition or soundforge could do destructively before you pop into the host
