hey
i run a macbook pro with ableton live 5.2
any body know of a universal binary vocoder/pitch changing plug-in that is midi keyboard controlable and can manipoulate incoming sound in real time?
i can't find one anywhere!!!
i've tried dfx scrubby which is great but you can't change the pitch of your sound source at the same time as it is being input (you have to wait for the buffer to fill up) and as far as i can tell the mda ones can't have the pitch controlled by midi.
if anyone has any hints or suggestions then i would be massively appreciative - got loads of ideas of what to do with a vocoder but can't afford a korg or anything!
cheers!

Our Discord 2 can do this, and is UB. It isn't a vocoder, though. Only pitch shifting and delay. Check it out here:

You can control the pitch from a MIDI keyboard, no problem at all.

----I'd 2nd that, Dischord does the pitch shifting part for sure, and with the filtering, you might get pretty close to what you're looking for. Jack Dark has a couple, Voxelay I think, and a pitch shifter too, that also might be worth checking into for vocal manipulations.
