no need to apologize, Alex  - but Andy and me just stated facts which contradicted Xander's post which basically said 'a fool who believes it might be different than it is' - we never said it is good or bad the way it is now - all we said is that it's not totally unreasonable to assume it might be different.

Kingston then replied in a way that made it look as if we were taking sides even though we weren't, well, and when I replied and said we weren't then you joined in. ;-) :-)

Doesn't your ISP give you at least one email account when you signed up with them? Mine gave me six email accounts, even though I only want one! :-)

I know, I asked him the same thing. All of the isp's around here have an email address as part of the signup package. Maybe some of the cheaper ones don't?

Maybe it's a language thing but I find the statement "Please note: This version can NOT be used as an update for registered users!" to be an insult to registered users, like myself.

Man, if you find this insulting then you've got a way bigger problem than being unsatisfied with a software-company... :-o
exactly.
check my profile for contact info.
msn messenger is my email as well.

I've had my Hotmail account for over 10 years. It moves with me. I've had at least 3 other ISP's, which means I have lost my old EMail addresses. Much easier to use one EMail that can move with you.

Simple music philosophy - Those who can, make music. Those who can't, make excuses.

Sure, use Hotmail as a primary account, there's nothing wrong with that. But the point is you do still have access to ISP mail, so the blacklisting of free mail shouldn't prevent anyone from using ShareIt.

Yes - PITA to move a lot of contact points isn't it.

I have retained the same email address for 11 years now for just this reason. It costs a little annually to keep it up - an unnecessary expense in some ways because I have moved on to a utility that supplies my broadband but I still keep my old connection going so I can retain a stable address.

Kjaerhus does offer paypal anyway, no? At least it says so here: http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/purchase.php

'bout the ISP email thingy, I haven't used mine for so long that I don't have a clue what it might have been...and I don't relish the thought of spending 4 hours on the phone trying to reach support to find out.
No, that wasn't me.

What-they don't have a web site where you can edit your email accounts? Or a 'forget your password?' link? Or a contact email for support?

I already said that with the gold series you download the demo and activate them with a reg file.
It's OK -- I never really pay much attention to anything you say either.

But maybe I didn't articulate myself well enough. Here's what Torben said:
Torben wrote: ...The trial versions of some of the plug-ins can not be used for registered users as the code for saving parameter data with the Host project is missing.
...and that's what I meant. He then went on to imtimate that it's all explained in the email anyway...

WTF is going on here? Izzit a full moon or something? Sheesh... :hihi:

So what's that supposed to mean jens? Does it make some sort of sense? How the f**k did your bent little mind come up with that out of what I said? I don't think you even understand the bitch-trolling tripe you write in your own language, let alone English you wanker. :hihi:
