Yeah, if we're including Kontakt/Halion format, that means the samples are stored externally, so adding the SFZ format would take just a few more KB.holymoly wrote:Hey Paul....just want to mention that when you get into converting your samples to the other formats to please not forget the Cakewalk/RGCAudio "Expression Engine" SFZ format. For those of us who use Dimension Pro/Rapture as well...it would be a nice addition to be able to use your samples in those synths too - kinda like how Jeremy of NSL is doing.manytone wrote:We are planning on releasing our Samplesets in other formats in the future but this is still in the works. (Kontakt, Halion etc)
Anyway...just wanted to throw in a reminder.
Thanks!

Hi Guys
I'll get the Sitar in the Freezone next week for all regged users.
Everything is ready i just have to set up the files on the server and get the webpage updated.
dusted william - It is not so much a collection but rather a large single soundset with individual Left and right files and a mono version of the 2 blended. It also comes with about 20 presets for ManyStation or WusikStation. I will take it further and sample it some more the next time Boris and I get together though.
Anyways... Just about there folks - sorry about the slight delay but i am on the last steps now.

Can you guyz sample a veenai? It is as widely used as sitar, perhaps not as popular though.

What a coincidence, a friend of mine just got one! It has around four strings, some resonant strings on the side, and some resonant strings inside the body, right? Is "veenai" really how you spell it? I always see it as "vina", but a lot of times these sort of words are spelled incorrectly...keyman_sam wrote:Can you guyz sample a veenai? Vina is always the spelling I understood...it's quite a different instrument despite the drones commonality. Very metallic, highly suitable for western music, actually.FlounderEye wrote:Can't wait to get my grubby hands on that Sitar, and a Vina, should the fates allow!
So yeah, if it works out, serve 'em up!

I paid for it yesterday.
I haven't gotten an email yet, but I can't wait to play it. I've been wanting it a long time.
I have my banjo, my toy piano, kalimba and as soon as I get the email my sitar!
Thanks Manytone

BTW, the "SynthTar (Needs ManyStation).WusikPRST" needs 3 soundsets in the Famous Keys sets in WusikStation and so perhaps should be renamed "SynthTar (Needs WusikStation).WusikPRST".
