Has anyone here used Pyramix?
I only just heard of it this week, but I like the fact that it is for Windows, where ProTools is for both, but really only for Macs.
I've always been dissapointed with Protools, and all the damn extras.

Ahh Pyramix, one of those apps with "THIS SOFTWARE IS SUPER PRO" syndrome. No, I haven't tried it.

I can say I have "tried" it, but really not long enough to do much of anything to tell you anything usefull. A campus in my area is home to a studio with a pyramix set up, I set up a meeting with the producer/professor and took a look around the place, took a short look around the pyramix system and heard him spout about it for awhile, he seemed the exact uber proxor type to fit the bill of it, so whether its as great as he says it is, who knows, but he switched to it from pro tools and said hed never look back.
