Stereo/pingpong delay. Question within.

It seems that all the stereo/pingpong delays that I try only output with a hard-panned left-right feedback.

Is there anything that will allow the user to adjust the panning of the individual outputs. Like for instance, say I wanted the left feedback signal @ 45 degrees, and the right @ 90?

I know that Waves supertap does this, but I'm sure I don't need to explain my reasons for not wanting that one.

since adjusting the volume control on either output would give you the same perception,
why not just use 2 instances of a single plug fed from the same audio source?
Set one for left and right to be equal in all delay settings and levels (assuming you mean that 90 degrees is dead center). Set the other for left only and adjust the output level.

There's lots of freebies that do. Ixox OctoDel lets you choose panning and position for each delayed voice.
GT Roku and the Klanglabs Deelays have filtering for each voice as well. There's much mcuh more if you look a little.

@debutante: yeah, I guess I could've looked a little more on my own, but typing in a search for delays gave me some unbelievable number of hits. I just wanted to ask, in hopes that I could narrow things down a little.

Why not just use your panners in your DAW? E.g. Cubase SX3 has 3 panner options. If you select the dual panner option, you can place the left and right audio anywhere you want. Kjaerhus Classic Delay has a pan knob that basically alters the width of the stereo spread, which isn't quite the same but at least is not hard panned.

Yeah, you could do this with StereoPan in any host as well.

Steinberg's Karlette and DoubleDelay allow for control of pan positions.

You can control the stereo width in the latest update to Bionic Delay, the best-sounding VST delay there is.

THere should be more than that, But I can't think of them offhand. It is hard to find that ideal delay, I know...
