Picked it up for 100 bucks from audiomidi.
I did a demo shootout against Arts Acoustic, Master Verb 5, Silver Spike R2 focusing on small ambiences (I have free and old verbs for long stuff, which they seem to do pretty well, especially with droney abstract sounds - ie glaceverb)
I was going to go for R2 - this was pretty similar to Master Verb 5, but cheaper.
Master Verb 5 I preferred to AA for some reason.
It just seemed more transparent and subtle and easier to get the "don't notice till its done" vibe going on.
Anyway, I heard about Wizoo being on sale, tried the demo and this probably beats them all on the small/ambient stuff...and probably the bigger spaces as well (havn't got there yet). For getting upfront/intimate fuller vocals with some stereo spread...its great! It does what I've been unable to do very well at all in the past. A little magic dust.
Plenty of useful presets.
It also starts eating my CPU for breakfast so while I save up for a dual core its bounce time.
Up to 15% an instance on my 2.2 celeron. Be warned!
Also, MV5 and R2 should be on any verb shoppers list I think, very nice plugs.
In praise of wizoo W2...

I'll second that - yay for wizooverb2 (especially at $99)
I've been singing its praises since I picked mine up two weeks ago (I started the "Great deal alert" here). In fact, I also just commented in a thread at the Sonar forum where some reverb enthusiasts were comparing it to IR1 and Altiverb, asking which they should get...
As the above mentioned are around $700 and $900 respectively, I told them basically to get off their asses and buy W2, then later, if they're so inclined, go ahead and spend a small fortune for the other two.
But at $99, this one's the Buy-of-the-Year, and a friggin no-brainer!
